Ambitie: experience, convert & bind

“Increase  exposure and awareness of  The Hague’s  International  Culture offering to the expat and International community  living in The Hague region  as well as  in other regions of the Netherlands.“


WITHprovides  a forum where  cultural organizations can showcase themselves and  interact with the Expat/International  community  during a one day event in order to bind these groups.


Resultaat: one the cultural fair

Goal:  in 2020 the international community feels more at home in The Hague . Result: less expats leave, more expats visit and lengten their visit.


Concept: cursious making cultural offering

Feel at Home in The Hague International Community Fair  is an annual event  which attracts 2,000 – 4,000  visitors. It  helps Expats/Internationals  “feel at home”  in their new environment by showcasing the diversity of  leisure time activities available  in The Hague region including  art, culture, entertainment and sport. The Fair wants to  showcase  The Hague’s  cultural offering, via performances on a podium, seminars, workshops  and other interactive creative  activities.  In 2017, The Fair will be promoted to all Expat/International living  in The Netherlands.


Business Case: visitors old and new x spendings + partnerships – investment= Retrun on Experience (ROE)

Professional Arts and Cultural organizations will be able to showcase themselves at the FAIR in a variety of different ways. Also there will be a ticket booth offering special deals. The cultural organizations can also use this opportunity to promote their venues for events. We will expand the scope of the Fair to attract Expats/International from all over the Netherlands. This will also increase the potential for additional revenue by organizing special cultural, hotel and restaurant arrangements. Parnership will accomodate the possibility to make this a city centre event and suprise even more.
